Issue

The 9 PCT within the South Central SHA were looking for Commercial Support to enable them to complete the tendering process, under the FESC Framework, for this key project to support future Commissioning activity.

Solution

Working as part of the central project team, for the 9 PCTs across the South Central SHA, I was brought in to undertake the following role as part of their contracting activity, in line with the FESC framework, to procure a Commissioning Enablement Service:

• Manage the short-listing and preferred bidder selection processes
• Manage the day to day interaction with all bidders throughout the process
• Provide specialist commercial input to the drafting of the ESSA (contract)
• To author the ESSA Requirements and appropriate sections of the Full Business Case
• Work with external legal advisors and SC SHA advisors to conclude the final contract
• Work with the PCT management team to establish contract management functions
• Draft, negotiate and conclude a number of related additional services contracts
